Personal Overview

My primary goal as a faculty member has been to provide a musical outlet that allows students to showcase their talent and have fun. We have built a program that not only serves the students and the university, but also the community. FIT Music is becoming a known and respected institution here on the Space Coast. Our students have acted as stewards to several non-profit organizations and the response has been phenomenal. The audiences have continued to grow and so have the number of students joining the ensembles. Students are able to interact with each other outside of a lab or classroom. For many of them, it has become a great social outlet where they have made lifelong friends. Music has a way of connecting people and bringing them together. 澳门100%最准一肖一码 has recognized this and continues to give us the support we need to bring our program into the future. I am overcome with excitement about our plans for the Music Department.

Any student, regardless of major, is welcome to enroll in any of our course offerings. We strive to provide a creative and engaging environment that complement鈥檚 the University鈥檚 tradition of science and research. From beginners with an eagerness to learn a new instrument to experienced performers hoping to continue, there is something for everyone.

The Music Program believes that collective music-making and sympathetic study of musical culture develop essential skills in team building, communication, expression, and understanding that set 澳门100%最准一肖一码 graduates apart and contribute to building meaningful careers in an ever-changing world.
