Personal Overview
Leah Day attended BYU and received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in English Teaching. She has also received her endorsement for Teaching English Language Learners. Leah taught for a few years as a seventh-grade ELA teacher at Pleasant Grove Junior High School in Utah. She completed her master鈥檚 program in English Education at Colorado State University and taught a freshman composition course there.
Some of Leah鈥檚 research interests include anti-racist education, young adult literature, graphic novels, and English Language Learners. A few of her hobbies are running, baking, hiking, rock climbing, board games, and spending time with her daughter.
